The Wizard of Oz

Our school this year did the Wizard of Oz as the play. I went to go see it last night! Normally school plays aren't that great, but you go to see them to show support to your friends in it. Well, this play was amazing! I have never seen such a good play put on by our school. I absolutely loved it! A girl that came from New Orleans this year after the hurricane, named Ariel, played Dorothy. Her singing voice was amazing and I could probably listen to her sing for hour. I also thought it was cute because she is a short little black girl, and you usually picture Dorothy as a white girl with blondish reddish hair, so I thought the change in the Character of Dorothy was cute. They used a live dog, and brought in professional make up artist to do the makeup of the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Lion. Unfortunately my digital camera broke and so I haven't been able to take pictures! So I guess you'll have to just imagine the amazingness (if that's even a word) of their makeup and of the show!

Basketball Party :)

Last night we had our basketball party to celebrate our great season. We went over to the Schidmt's house and had dinner and just spent time with eachother again. It was so much fun. The house is beautiful, it's right on the lake and so when the sun started to go down it was beautiful. We talked as a team and received our certificates from the state that said we were State Champions! :) It was a lot of fun, but it was sad because it was the last team event with the team.

Aly, Me, Erin, Loren, Gabby and BB were on one couch
Tierra, Krystal, Audrey, Kace, and Lyns were on the other
(And Jess was on the floor).

Lex and Newmie

Then we all went upstairs and watched the video my dad made. This one was a lot better than last years because the ending was much better! :) It was a fun night to spend with my team. I love them so much and they mean the world to me. It won't be the same next year with out our 5 seniors, Aly, Jess, Kace, Lyns and Gabby.

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Unfinished Business

Okay so I was watching the video that my dad made for our team today and I realized I didn't have anything on here about my wonderful basketball team! We have been through so much together and we are very close friends. I don't know what I would do with out them.
All of our hard work paid off this year and we ended up with a record of 30-2 and a State Championship. I think we took care of our Unifinished Business.I could write so much but I think pictures are more fun, so here are a bunch of pictures from our season.

Aly, Lex, me, and Krystal

We went to Madison, Georgia right after Christmas this year for the Sweet South Tournament. We won the tournament and got a sweeeettt bubble gum machine trophy!!!
How wierd are they?! :) Jess, Kace, Aly and Lynsey
Gabby and Tierra
Me and BB in Georgia
The Team at the Sadie Hawkins Picnic! (Missing Erin and Loren and Gabs)
Right after the buzzer went off
Our 5 Seniors Jess, Kacey, Gabby, Aly and Lynsey. We will defiantly miss them!

Our Prom ♥

Okay so here is the story of our Prom Night!

Us and our Crazy Chef!

Well Jaimie and I decided not to go to our school's spring formal or prom this year. It was a last minute decision for both of us, so we caused a little controversy at school.

Alot of people got mad at us for backing out at the last minute, which probably wasn't the nicest thing to do, but we didn't want to spend our money on something we didn't want to go to! So we started talking about what we were going to do instead and we came up with the idea of going to Kobe Steakhouse, which is my favorite place to eat! It was so much fun! We had the craziest chef! He had nicknames for just about everyone at our table. I was "Yum Yum." He was the funniest chef, my dad called me one time, and he said "waaaaaazzzzzuupppppppp!" He had our whole table laughing the whole time. Over all we had so much fun! I think it was better than going to prom!!

We had so much fun taking weird pictures and making funny faces!!!

We even ran into our teacher, Coach Ruta! Who is my favorite teacher ever!
