Graduation

Ahh! I Graduated! :) The events of this weekend are still a blurr. I have been so anxious-excited-nervous-sad that I don't remember many details about my graduation! Crazy--I know! But Luckily I have pictures that jog my memory of all the fun and exciting things that happened this weekend!

The Senior Walk of fame opened at 4 o'clock. It was so fun to see every one's displays and look at all the pictures from the past.
At 5 there was a dinner for the families the the graduates. This ice sculpture was one of the many spectacular decorations!
7 o'clock came too quickly. As we waited outside to enter the church--reality hit--and we realized this would be like last time we would all be together as the Senior class of The First Academy. All the teachers were lined up down the walk way, as we walked through the infamous 'Tunnel of Tears.' We were able to say goodbye to all our teachers, even lower school. Surprisingly I didn't cry.

From this point on is where things are a blurr. I remember waiting for my name to be called behind the stage, and taking pictures with everyone, but when my name was called I don't remember hearing anything he read about me!

The closing remarks were given by Pastor Uth. This was the saddest part of the whole ceremony. Pastor Uth has been meeting with us once a month since the end of last year to pray with us, and see how we are doing. This part was not in the schedule, but he called us all to come to the alter where we had started our journey one year ago and he prayed with us one last time.

After was just a big celebration :)My little cousin, Shelby, and I

Senior Project

Before graduation there is something called the "Senior Walk of fame" Each Senior makes a tri-fold display board and gets to set up their own little display for family and friends to look at as they go to graduation.
So I've been working on this all day! Cutting and backing all the pictures, sticking them on the board, gluing my name down! It's been fun, but it's taken me a long time! :) Now it's finally done! Yay!

Senior Prank :)

Yesterday was my last day of school!!! It was so much fun! We got out at 11:30 for off-campus lunch, and we didn't have to go back after because they were having an awards ceremony for the underclassmen. So we were done with school at 11:30! After lunch we came back, while they were all in the awards ceremony, and pulled our Senior-Prank! :)
In the past the seniors have always gone a little too far and pretty much vandalized something at the school. We saw how much trouble the seniors last year got in when they painted a big '06 in the courtyard, so we decided to do something that didn't involve paint, or anything that could get us in a lot of trouble!

We took the licence plates off the cars of all the Juniors, and took them out to the football field. But we did is smartly! :) We thought about what we would do if someone did that to us, and we decided to write down all the tag numbers, whose car, and what color--just in case they didn't know their tag number! We wrote "08 where's your licence plate?" all over the parking lot in chalk! We wanted to make sure they saw it because we didn't want anyone driving off with no licence plate! We also drew pictures of a football field, footballs, and a field goal to give them a hint of where they could find their licence plates.

We took the list of tag numbers and made 100 copies of it, went and put them all over the locker room. We taped them on lockers, on the walls, and just put them everywhere so they would see them!

We took the plates out the the football field and put them in a big '07 on the track.

Someone just happened to have a pack of 100 water balloons in their car! haha And we had about 45 minutes until they got out of school so we started filling up the water balloons! We put some water in an empty trash can and put them all in there--which made it even funnier when all the Juniors came to get there tags because they had to clue there were water balloons in the trash can!

Notice the water spots from the water balloons :)

I can't believe its over, but I'm glad the day ended like it did. We had so much fun! Ahh I'm graduating in 6 days! I have no school left and I don't have to take any exams! Where did the time go?Class of 2007

1 more day...

I cannot believe tomorrow is my last day of high school... I just can't believe it. This week couldn't have gone any slower, but I am glad that it has been slow. I've been able to cherish the last few days I have with these people that I am going to miss so much!

Yesterday we had a fun day! During my History class my teacher took us out to watch the testing of the physics classes go-kart! They had to do it for a project and had to test it to see what kind of grade they got! It was really cool! It ran well and was actually pretty fast! Our head-master, Mr. Witaker drove out on a golf cart to watch, and as soon as he got up to go watch it was taken over by a few girls that wanted to sit and watch.

Well after the class tested it, they decided to let Mr. Witaker drive it! He told the girls to come race him with the golf cart! It was so funny! Mr. Witaker beat them by pretty badly in the go-kart!

We also got to have ice cream with the Kindergarteners yesterday! That was a blast! It was fun to sit down and talk to them and listen to their stories--they say the cutest things!
Today was our last day of our Tuesday-Thursday classes! We had so much fun! We got in groups and did scenes from Hamlet!
He died

them too :)
Last english class

It's been a week of 'lasts'. Today was our last lunch in our lunchroom! All the girls on my basketball team sit together, and we have sat together at the same table since my 10th grade year! Oh it was so sad leaving our table!

Our table with Coach Ruta!
To make a long story short-- We can't leave the lunch room until we are dismissed by a teacher, and so we always wait until Coach Ruta comes and dismisses us! Which usually makes us the last ones out of the lunch room!

ahhh! I have 1 day of school left! I can't believe it!

Counting down the days....

3 days left!!

I cannot believe I only have 3 days of highschool left. I am so excited, but then again I am so sad! Honestly I am more sad than I am excited. I mean, yeah it is exciting to graduate but once I'm done I know I'll want to go back.

Sadddd!

Back to Kindergarten

Today we had our last Senior Luncheon! :( But it was the greatest one... The theme was 'Back to Kindergarten' and it was a blast!!! The mom's did a really good job planning this... We had a variety of foods that were all things we used to eat in Kindergarten. Things like-- chicken nuggets, peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, ants on a long, juice boxes, and for desert, a cup of dirt! (Chocolate pudding, smashed up oreos, and a gummy worm)

There were tables on the other side of the room and on each one was a different activity. It was so much fun to do all these things... it really made me feel like kid again... Here are some pictures....

Decorating our crowns

Our 'Play-doh' FlowersI guess we never learned to share... :)
Playing with Play-doh

Coloring was alot of fun!
We made pattern necklaces out of noodles, pretzels, fruit loops, and lifesavers

Bubbles!!Jump roping
decorating cookies

It was a so fun to go back and do some of the things we used to do when we were younger. Our time is running short, in just 5 days it will all be over!!!! Oh! And the funniest part of the whole day.... the power went out in the whole school and so we were with out power most of the time, luckily there were lots of windows in the room we were in!

Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.

Special Moments

I thought that I was excited to graduate and be done with school, but as that day approaches I find that I want just the opposite! I don't want it to end yet! I'm not ready to leave... I never thought I would say this... but I am not ready for school to end! Luckily I still have 8 more days....
Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again.
